Outlook 2007 Event ID 25 "The Folder Already Exists"

OS is Windows 7. All updates installed. Outlook 2007 with all updates installed.

Hello,

We have one user who is receiving frequent pop ups from the systray stating "Outlook, The Folder Already Exists." They correspond to an app log entry - Event ID 25 The Folder Already Exists.

We have created a new OST file, new OL profile, and yesterday went to the extent of creating both a new profile and a new Exchange 2013 mailbox. Exchange is fully patched as well.

We have also tried placing her account in non-cached mode and the error still occurs.

Any help would be appreciated; as there is little information out there on the event code with this error message.

Thank you.

- Can you paste the detailed event log (for above Event ID 25) from Event viewer?
- Try the following and update the result: Close Outlook. Open command prompt and type "Outlook.exe /safe". Observe whether you can repro the issue or not.

Hi,

Please logon OWA, is there any error? If the issue is client isolated, please perform a clean boot to troubleshoot if the issue is related to any background programs.
